I love to eat there

We were there last week. I have rarely eaten so badly! The mentioned recessions are totally out of date and the waitress didn't even remember we ordered a starter. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the food, but what we were served had nothing to do with the photos shown.

Best Greek ever!

Unfortunately yesterday was there for free, the restaurant is only open from Friday to Sunday

Food was very good and prices OK.

Just great. The food is delicious. Those who like Greek food should go there.

Simply great

The food was good. The portions were huge. So why only 2 stars? The premises were dirty, there were crumbs all over our table. The salt and pepper pots were sticky. It felt unhygienic.

Always fully satisfied, honest straightforward cuisine and menu (father and son). Grilled lamb superb, like the meat (Alpha Suflaki) generally also braised. Quite unexpected and a pleasure: the clear beef soup. The Zaziki tip with a clear hint of garlic and cucumber made of fresh ingredients tasted perfect (with fresh dill it would be the personally desirable icing on the cake). Salads simple, clear and straight. Rich portioning. Last but not least, the philanthropic nature of the major domus, who always appreciates the guest.

The food (at least what I had) was good, the boss is very nice and always tried. The ambience was not my cup of tea. A mixture of a restaurant and a flea market or a room in which you can put everything that you can't put anywhere else, I don't find it so cozy.

Very comfortably furnished restaurant that invites you to linger. Insanely nice host who is really interested in his guests. The food came fast and was really tasty, value for money in any case. Also the service was friendly and accommodating, a wonderful evening. What is not made by the large portion, is packed without problems. We were excited as a newly arrived bright and would love to come back soon!

This place is worth a recommendation. The decor may be a bit cheesy and old. But the host is very nice and hospitable. The food was plentiful, but also delicious. Since the price-performance ratio fits!

Long had not had such a lousy evening and left so much on the plates. Jars with crack, chips golden brown from the old grease. Suzuki sharp as usual. Cola in wine glasses because no other had more. That was definitely the last time there.

The 'Plaka' is an institution in Detmold. Service is usually quick, friendly, and cheerful. The food is delicious, fresh and prepared with love. Add to this a relaxed atmosphere, a little chat with Dimi, a couple of ouzo and it is guaranteed to be an unforgettable evening.
